The release of Jira Cloud is coming soon, and one feature that has been added is a template for issue (bug, task, etc.) fields. This feature will allow you to save the values of each entered field into the template, and then you can use that template again in the future to re-create the same issue. All while only having to enter the values once. Pretty slick, right? But do we ever really use Templates? What’s wrong with just manually entering in all of the information every time? Well, I think it’s because we need help remembering things as Human Beings. We rely on ourselves too much, and we forget that design patterns are meant to make our lives more enjoyable.
